Concordia Wins Competitive Cheer Championship
ROCHESTER HILLS, Mich. - Concordia made it five in a row by winning the 2023 Wolverine-Hoosier Athletic Conference (WHAC) Competitive Cheer Championship. Hosted by Rochester, the competition was staged at the Garth Pleasant Arena.
CUAA posted a preliminary round score of 94.05 and followed with a score of 94.90 in the final round for the total score of 94.69. Prelim scores account for 25% and while Final scores account for 75% of total score. Aquinas finished in second with an 87.97 and Lourdes rounded out the top three with 86.07.
The win gives the Cardinals the league's automatic berth to the NAIA National Championship March 10-11 in Ypsilanti, Mich.
