Three Earn NAIA Competitive Cheer All-American Honors

KANSAS CITY, Mo. - (NAIA Release) - The 2023 NAIA Competitive Cheer All-Americans announced after the conclusion of the 7th Annual National Championship event with three from WHAC member institutions honored. 

WHAC Cheerleader of the Year Zion Moorman of Concordia earned Second Team honors for his first national honor. Teammate Celina Hinojosa and Kendall Fitchpatric of Lourdes were named to the Honorable Mention All-America Team.  

To achieve NAIA All-America or Honorable Mention status, student-athletes participated in a tryout at the NAIA National Championship. Officials judged the athletes during the tryout and the All-American teams were determined by the judges' scores which took into account stunts, jumps and tumbling.
