Aquinas finishes 5th at NAIA Competitive Dance Nationals

YPSILANTI, Mich. - (NAIA Release) - Aquinas placed fifth at the 2022 NAIA Competitive Cheer National Championship held at George Gervin GameAbove Center. The 6th annual event, co-hosted by WHAC member Concordia, featured 12 teams from across the country and marked the sixth straight appearance for the Saints..

Friday's preliminary performance, that accounted for 25% of their total, saw Aquinas in fourth place with a score of 82.20. AQ scored 81.10 in the final round on Saturday which comprised the other 75% of the team's 81.38 total score.

Morningside (Iowa) won the championship with a total score of 92.31 for the most points scored in event history.
