WHAC Teams Compete at NAIA Northeast Regional Qualifier for Competitive Dance

GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. - Wolverine-Hoosier Athletic Conference (WHAC) teams competed in the NAIA Northeast Regional for competitive dance hosted by Aquinas inside the Sturrus Center. The WHAC teams competed with teams from the Crossroads League and the Chicagoland Collegiate Athletic Conference.

St. Ambrose (Iowa) won the event with an overall score of 92.29. The Bees were National Champions in 2018 and 2021 and National Runner-Up in 2019 and 2022. The win gives SAU the automatic berth to the NAIA National Championship March 10-11 in Ypsilanti, Mich. on the campus of Eastern Michigan University.

Aquinas finished in second wtih an overall score of 85.52 and Siena Heights was fourth with 84.15. Madonna, Concordia, Lawrence Tech, and Lourdes all were in the lower half of the standings.

Scores from the preliminary round accounted for 25% of the overall score with scores from the final performance weighing at 75%.
