Aquinas and Concordia Conclude Season at NAIA Dance Championship

YPSILANTI, Mich- (NAIA Release) Aquians and Concordia represented the Wolverine-Hoosier Athletic Conference (WHAC) at the Nfinity NAIA Competitive Dance National Championship last weekend. The 8th annual event was hosted by the Ann Arbor Sports Commission at the George Gervin GameAbove Center on the campus of Eastern Michigan University. WHAC champion, Aquinas, finished in 10th place overall with a combined team score of 80.28. Concordia was close behind in 11th place with a score of 75.23. 

St. Ambrose (Iowa) won its fourth consecutive championship, outlasting Midland (Neb.) by .36. St. Ambrose posted the second-highest score in championship history. 

The event consists of two days of competition with the first-day preliminary score accounting for 25% of the total score and the second day score accounting for 75%.
