Lawrence Tech's Luis Pacheco named Golfer of the Week

The Wolverine-Hoosier Athletic Conference (WHAC) has announced its Golfer of the Week award, presented by PCC Sports earlier today. Student-athletes are nominated by their host institutions' sports information department and selected via a vote by conference SID's. 

This week, WHAC SIDs have chosen Lawrence Tech's Luis Pacheco as its Men's Golfer of the Week. Pacheco, a graduate student from Subire Leon, Mexico won round one of the WHAC Preview event with a three-under 68 and followed it up by winning his matchplay match against Lourdes on the second day of the event. The win was his fifth career collegiate victory. 

PCC Sports specializes in the construction and design of artificial turf fields, running tracks, tennis courts, pickleball courts, and surfacing of tracks/courts. PCC Sports is a rapidly growing company based near Kansas City, MO and has a footprint throughout the Midwest and Southern United States. PCC Sports is affiliated with ASBA, FieldTurf, Beynon, and a member of Post-Tensioning Institute.
