Indiana Tech Claims Men's Lacrosse Tournament

FORT WAYNE, Ind. - (Tournament Page) - Indiana Tech won its third Wolverine-Hoosier Athletic Conference (WHAC) Men's Lacrosse Tournament title after defeating Siena Heights 11-2 in the championship game of the 2022 tournament.

Indiana Tech held a 5-0 lead after the first period and added three more before the half and another two in the third. Siena Heights was held scoreless through three quarters by a tough Warrior defense that held SHU to five total shots on goal for the game. SHU's lone goal came in the fourth in a man-up situation before the Warriors added a final score before time expired.

Samuel Bodley recorded three goals for IT while Louis Czech had three assists. Kyle Two-Bulls recorded six saves. Jake Gallaher scored SHU's lone goal off an assist from Eric Csizmadia. Vinnie Jean made 28 saves in goal.

The number one team in the nation, Indiana Tech takes an undefeated 16-0 season into the NAIA Men's Lacrosse National Invitational May 11-14 in Pensacola, Fla.
