Men's Soccer Honors

FORT WAYNE, Ind. - (COMPLETE HONORS) - The Wolverine-Hoosier Athletic Conference (WHAC) announced its 2021 Men's Soccer Honors at the conclusion of the tournament final. Regular season champion Indiana Tech tookd three of the individual honors. Maxwell Amoako was named Offensive Player of the Year after leading the league with 17 goals. Teammate Will Harris repeated as Defensive Player of the Year after leading a defense that allowed just 10 goals during the season. Ryota Nakajima of Madonna earned Newcomer of the Year with five goals and three assists as helped the Crusaders transition to a new style of play.

Indiana Tech head coach David Bokhart was voted as Coach of the Year for leading the Warriors to an 8-0-2 league record. Steve Herdsman of Cornerstone received Champions of Character Coach for his comittment to building character through sports.

In additon to the individual honors, the WHAC named its All-Conference Teams including an All-Newcomer Team, an All-Academic Team for junior and above in academic standing with cumulative 3.25 GPA and in attendance at nomination institution for one full year, and Champions of Character Team consisting of one member from each team who best represents the five core character values of integrity, respect, responsibility, sportsmanship, and servant leadership.
