Indiana Tech's Motta, Aquinas' Rittersberger Named All-Americans

KANSAS CITY, Mo - (NAIA Release) 2023 Men's Soccer All-Americans were announced by the NAIA national office on Monday afternoon. WHAC Offensive Player of the Year Ricardo Rittersberger (Aquinas) and Midfielder of the Year Lucca Motta (Indiana Tech) were named to list, each earning a place on the third team. Rittersberger's efforts led Aquinas to a regular season WHAC title (their first since 2010) and a trip to the NAIA National Championship Opening Round. He led the league in goals with 21 and points with 51. Lucca Motta also earned a spot on the third team for his efforts in leading Indiana Tech to their fifth-straight WHAC tournament title. He led the Warriors in assists with six and finished second on Indiana Tech in both points and goals. Motta was an honorable mention selection a season ago and was named to the 2023 NAIA All-Tournament team for his play at the NAIA National Championship.
