Indiana Tech Finishes as National Runner-Up as 3 WHAC Teams in Top 20

BROOKINGS, S.D. - (NAIA Release) - The Wolverine-Hoosier Athletic Conference (WHAC) saw three teams finish in the Top 20, 31 All-Americans, and one national champion at the 2022 NAIA Men's Indoor Track & Field National Championships at the Sanford-Jackrabbit Athletic Complex on the campus of South Dakota State University. Indiana Tech ended the meet as national runner-ups after Oklahoma City edged the Warriors three points for a 62-point win.

Indiana Tech's Zayquan Lincoln captured the 200m title in 20.80 seconds to set a new NAIA Indoor record, beating the previous time of 20.84 set by Mike Mitchell of Azusa Pacific (Calif.) in 2004. The Warriors finished with 12 earning All-America status.

Madonna finished eighth with 23.5 points as five earned All-America status. Cornerstone saw seven named All-American and finished 16th with 18 points. Siena Heights got seven points (41st) from six All-American and Aquinas was 53rd with two points and an All-American.
