Familiar Faces wins Men's Volleyball Weekly Honors
Three repeat honorees took the Men's Volleyball weekly awards for the Wolverine-Hoosier Athletic Conference (WHAC). Julian Armendano of Aquinas picked up his fourth Attacker of the Week award with 4.67 kills per set in two big wins for the Saints. Aquinas' Daniel De La Rosa earned his second Defender of the Week title with 13 blocks and five digs. Brandon Jones of Indiana Tech grabbed his fourth Setter of the Week honor as he posted 12 digs and 87 assists in two wins.

Armendano powered AQ to two big WHAC victories by posting 21 kills in each match, as the Saints pushed their win streak to 10 consecutive matches and the #3 seed in the WHAC Tournament. He averaged 4.67 kills per set in wins over Siena Heights and in AQ's first-ever win at Lourdes on Saturday. Armendano added 13 digs and 4 block assists, while averaging 4.9 points per set on the week.

De La Rosa helped AQ extend its winning streak to 10 consecutive matches - including the program's first-ever win at Lourdes - while clinching the #3 seed in the WHAC Tournament. He averaged 1.44 blocks per set in the two wins and recorded 10 total blocks in the thrilling 3-2 win at #10 Lourdes on Saturday night. De La Rosa provided 12 kills, 3 blocks, and 3 digs in the team's Senior Night win over (RV) Siena Heights on Wednesday.
