#3 Indiana Tech and #5 Lawrence Tech advance to Men's Volleyball Semifinals

The #3 seed and #5 seeds picked up wins in the opening round of the Wolverine-Hoosier Athletic Conference (WHAC) Men's Voleyball Tournament on Tuesday evening at campus sites. #3 Indiana Tech earned a decisive 3-0 win over #6 Siena Heights to punch its ticket to the semis, while #5 Lawrence Tech and #4 Mount Vernon Nazerene went the distance. LTU and MVNU alternated set wins all evening, but it was the Blue Devils who pulled out the 15-12 advantage in the fifth set to move on. Indiana Tech will take on #2 Cornerstone at 4 p.m. on Friday while Lawrence Tech will play top-seed and host, Lourdes at 7 p.m. Lourdes will also host Saturday's championship, which begins at 6 p.m. An awards ceremony will take place between the first and second games on Thursday.
