Pair of Upsets sends #3 Indiana Tech and #5 Lawrence Tech to WHAC MVB Finals

SYLVANIA, Ohio - (Tournament Page)The top two seeds fell in the Wolverine-Hoosier Athletic Conference (WHAC) semifinal round on Friday evening. The matches, hosted by top-seeded Lourdes, saw #3 Indiana Tech sweep #2 Cornerstone 3-0 and #5 Lawrence Tech hang on to avoid the reverse sweep and defeat top-seeded Lourdes 3-2. This marks the first time since the WHAC began sponsoring the sport in 2018-19 that a seed lower than #3 has made the finals. It's also the first time the #1 seed has not advanced to the finals.
