Madonna Wins Softball Championship

LIVONIA, Mich. - Madonna posted an 18-4 league record to capture the 2022 Wolverine-Hoosier Athletic Conference (WHAC) Softball Title. It's the ninth regular-season title for the Crusaders who now have the most titles in the league. UM-Dearborn finished in second with a 17-5 WHAC record and UNOH landed in third at 16-6. The Crusaders led the league with a .340 batting average and had a team 1.67 ERA. With the championship comes the top seed in the upcoming conference tournament and the league's first automatic berth to the NAIA Softball Opening Round May 16-18 on campus sites.
