Bravo and McAlinden Named Players of the Week

The Wolverine-Hoosier Athletic Conference (WHAC) has announced its Softball Players of the Week, presented by PCC Sports, earlier today. Student-athletes are nominated by their host institutions' sports information department and selected via a vote by conference SID's. 

WHAC SID's have selected Savannah Bravo (Indiana Tech) as the Pitcher of the Week and Shannon McAlinden (Concordia) as the Player of the Week. Bravo tossed 19 innings, striking out 19 and allowing over one run over three starts. The sophomore righthander threw two complete game shutouts and picked up a trio of wins. McAlinden led Concordia to a 4-0 week thanks to a .500 batting average and 1.000 slugging percentage. She had a pair of home runs and a double, drove in seven and scored six times.
