Lawrence Tech Wins Women's Bowling Tournament

FORT WAYNE, Ind. - Lawrence Tech won the 2022 Wolverine-Hoosier Athletic Conference (WHAC) Women's Bowling Tournament for the first time since 2016. The Blue Devils claimed the second seed after the Baker Game Round with a score of 3807 at ThunderBowl Lanes. Lourdes posted a 3841 to take the first seed. Madonna rolled a 3615 for the No. 3 seed and last year's tournament champion Indiana Tech came as the fourth seed with a 3594.

Lourdes defeated Indiana Tech 3-2 in the first semifinal and Lawrence Tech defeated Madonna 3-1 to set up the championship match. Lourdes won the first game 212-144 before the Blue Devils took the next three (195-191, 199-160, 185-137).

With the tournament title comes the WHAC's automatic berth to the NAIA Women's Bowling National Championship March 24-26 at Five Star Lanes in Sterling Heights, Mich.
