Concordia and Indiana Tech Compete at NAIA Women's Bowling Championships

STERLING HEIGHTS, Mich. – [BRACKET | SCHEDULE | NAIA RELEASE] - The 4th Annual NAIA Women's Bowling National Championship crowned SCAD Savannah (Ga.) as the winner of the Battle For The Red Banner, the Bees third straight. The 2024 event was hosted by Lawrence Tech and the Detroit Sports Commission at 5 Star Lanes from March 21st to 23rd.

Indiana Tech and Concordia represented the Wolverine-Hoosier Athletic Conference (WHAC) at the 2024 NAIA National Championships. Concordia, competing in its first ever NAIA Championship, earned the No. 9 seed with 4,446 pins in baker play. Indiana Tech claimed the 11th seed with 4,330. Concordia fought back after being down 2-1 to win the final three sets and claim the 4-2 win over No. 9 Ottawa (Kan.) to advance to a matchup with No. 1 SCAD Savannah (Ga.). SCAD defeated Concordia 4-1 to send them to the elimination bracket. Indiana tech lost its first round matchup to No. 6 Milligan (Tenn.) 4-1 to move to the elimination bracket as well. Both Concordia and Indiana Tech lost their respective matchups to be eliminated from the tournament.
