Women'a Golf NAIA Championship Field and Pairing Announced

KANSAS CITY, Mo. – (Championship Information) The National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics (NAIA) has announced the competing teams and individuals for the 29th Annual NAIA Women's Golf National Championship, running from May 14-17 at TPC Deere Run in Silvis, Ill.

The 156-player field consists of 19 automatic qualifying teams, who won their respective conference/independent tournament or were ranked in the final Top 25 for the conference's second automatic berth. Automatic berths are given to conferences who have six or more schools declare at the beginning of the season. Conferences with 12+ schools who finish the conference tournament are eligible for a second automatic qualifier, as long as the second team is rated in the final regular-season Coaches' Top 25 Poll.

Eleven teams reached the championship field through an at-large selection. At-large teams were determined using the final regular-season Coaches' Top 25 Poll released today. To access the poll, CLICK HERE.

To receive an individual automatic berth, the conference medalist must be from a team who did not win the conference team title, or be an All-Tournament Team honoree from the previous year's national championships that did not qualify otherwise. To earn an at-large individual berth, the selection is determined by the NAIA Women's Golf Executive Committee.

(TEE TIMES & PAIRINGS) The National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics (NAIA) has released the tee times and pairings for the first two rounds of the NAIA Women's Golf National Championships. The 29th annual event will be played at TPC Deere Run in Silvis, Ill. from May 14-17.

The action will begin on Tuesday with the first wave at 7:00 a.m. CST on Hole 1 and first pairings off Tee 10 twenty minutes later. The afternoon groups will start at 12:00 p.m. local time off the first tee and 12:20 CST on Hole 10.

For Wednesday's round, the groupings will flip afternoon and morning time slots, as well as start on the different half of the course than their previous day. After two full rounds have been completed, the field will be cut.

Following the second round, the field will be reduced to the top 15 teams (plus ties) and 6 individuals who have not already made the cut with their teams (plus ties).

The 156-player field features 30 teams and six individual qualifiers. For more information on the qualifiers, CLICK HERE.
