WLAX National Awards Honors WHAC, Player

KANSAS CITY, Mo. - (NAIA Release) - The NAIA announced the 2022 Women's Lacrosse All-Americans as well as the Coach and Player of the Year with seven players and one coach from the Wolverine-Hoosier Athletic Conference (WHAC) honored. Abby Barnewold of Lawrence Tech and Marissa Cirino of Siena Heights were named to the All-America First Team while Abbey Smentowski, Annabelle Acluche, Axey Vang and Bella Burke of LTU and Alexis Villarini of Aquinas were named to the Second Team.

Lawrence Tech head coach Mary Ann Meltzer picked up her second NAIA Coach of the Year award after leading the Blue Devils to and undefeated regular season and the national runner-up finish.
