Women's Lacrosse Preseason Coaches Poll Released
Head coaches in the Wolverine-Hoosier Athletic Conference (WHAC) have chosen defending National Champion Lawrence Tech as the preseason favorite in the conference. The Blue Devils won their third-consecutive WHAC tournament title and second-consecutive regular season title in 2023 with a 17-1 overall record and perfect 9-0 mark in conference play. They received 75 total points and six of nine first place votes in the poll. Checking in at second is Marian with 67 points and the remaining three first place votes. Marian finished third a season ago with a 13-5 (7-2 WHAC) record. Indiana Tech was picked third in the poll with 62 points, following their 10-5 (6-3 WHAC) record in 2023. 2023 WHAC tournament runner-up Aquinas as close behind in fourth place with 56 points. The 2024 WHAC Women's Lacrosse Tournament will take place April 16, 18 and 20th at host sites. The top six teams in in the regular season standings will qualify.
