Larrison and Hirsch named WLAX Players of the Week

The Wolverine-Hoosier Athletic Conference (WHAC) has announced its Women's Lacrosse Players of the Week, presented by PCC Sports, earlier today. Student-athletes are nominated by their host institutions' sports information department and selected via a vote by conference SID's. 

WHAC SID's have selected Brea Larrison (Bethel) as the Offensive Player of the Week and Katherine Hirsch (Marian) as the Defensive Player of the Week. Larrison wins her second award this season thanks to nine goals over three games and leading her team to a 2-1 weekly record. Larrison also had four assists, nine ground balls and 11 draw controls. Hirsch did her part in net in helping Marian to a 2-0 week. Hirsch allowed just three goals in two games, making eight saves. This is Hirsch's first award this season.
