Women's soccer weekly awards announced
The Wolverine-Hoosier Athletic Conference (WHAC) announced Patricia Gomez Nogueras of UNOH and Merin McDermott of Aquinas as its women's soccer players of the week. Gomez Nogueras was named Offensive Player of the Week as she notched a hat trick in the semifinals of the WHAC tournament. McDermott earned Defensive Player of the Week as she led a dfensive backline that gave up only eight shots on goal in two games while scoring a goal herself.
