Aquinas and UNOH headed to NAIA Women's Soccer Opening Round

KANSAS CITY, Mo. - (NAIA Release) - The National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics (NAIA) has officially announced the teams and pairings for the 2021 NAIA Women's Soccer National Championship Opening Round presented by Select Sport America and Aquinas and UNOH are included. The 40-team NAIA Opening Round event at 10 campus locations will occur from November 18-20.

The 2021 NAIA Opening Round winners will meet up in Orange Beach, Ala., at the NAIA National Championship final site event. The 38th annual championship takes place at the Orange Beach Sportsplex Nov. 30 – Dec. 6, 2021.

Aquinas qualified as the Wolverine-Hoosier Athletic Conference (WHAC) champion and plays in the Marion Bracket in Indianapolis hosted by Indiana Wesleyan. The Saints won both the regular season and tournament titles to qualify for their fourth consecutive appearance in the Opening Round. UNOH received the league's second automatic berth as the WHAC tournament runner-up. The Racers are making their eighth consecutive trip and finished as national runner-up in 2014 and national champions in 2016. UNOH travels to Indianapolis for the bracket hosted by Marian.
