Aquinas advances to NAIA National Championship Final Site

One WHAC team saw its season come to a close while another advanced to the NAIA National Championship Final Site for the third time in as many years. UNOH, the #3 seed that won that WHAC tournament to qualify for nationals and then won their opening round game, fell in the second round to Cumberlands 2-0 on Saturday, Nov. 18. Regular season champion Aquinas, however, was hosting a national tournament game on their home turf for the first time in program history and used it to their advantage, winning 3-1. The win sent them on to play at the final site at Foley Sports Tourism Championship Stadium in Foley, Alabama. The Saints will face off with John Brown University (Ark.) at 2 p.m. on Monday, Nov. 27.
