UNOH Women's Tennis Wins 2024 WHAC Tournament

MIDLAND, Mich. - For the first time since 2019, UNOH women's tennis has captured the Wolverine-Hoosier Athletic Conference (WHAC) tournament title. The Racers avenged last seasons championship match loss and defeated #2 seed Cornerstone 4-1 in the finals match inside Midland Tennis Center on Thursday afternoon. As the top seed, UNOH earned a first round bye, then defeated #4 Lawrence Tech 4-0 in the semifinal match on Wednesday. #2 Cornerstone also received a first round bye, then punched its ticket to the finals with a 4-2 win over #3 Indiana Tech. In the finals, Cornerstone won second singles and UNOH won third, fifth and sixth along with second and third doubles. 

With the win, UNOH earned the WHAC's automatic bid to the NAIA National Championships in Mobile, Ala. May 14-18.
