Korte an Pogue named Track Athletes of the Week

The Wolverine-Hoosier Athletic Conference (WHAC) has announced its Outdoor Track and Field Athletes of the Week, presented by PCC Sports, earlier today. Student-athletes are nominated by their host institutions' sports information department and selected via a vote by conference SID's. 

WHAC SID's have selected  Kiya Pogue (Indiana Tech) as the Track Athlete of the Week and Lena Korte (Concordia) as the Field Athlete of the Week. Pogue hit an A standard in the 110H at the Georgia Tech Invitational with a time of 13.99. She also competed in the 100m and hit an NAIA B standard with a personal best 11.87. Korte won the shot put at the Don Kleinow Invite with a throw of 14.25m (A standard). Korte finished second in the Hammer Throw (44.77m) and the Javelin (33.77m).
