LTU's Assenmacher wins Runner of the Week

The Wolverine-Hoosier Athletic Conference (WHAC) has announced its Women's Runner of the Week award, presented by PCC Sports earlier today. Student-athletes are nominated by their host institutions' sports information department and selected via a vote by conference SID's. 

WHAC SID's have selected Hannah Assenmacher (Lawrence Tech) as its Runner of the Week. The junior from Ida, Michigan ran a personal best 19:01.85 5k at the Muskegon Jayhawk Invite to finish in 11th place. She helped LTU to a fifth place team finish and was the top WHAC runner at the event.

PCC Sports specializes in the construction and design of artificial turf fields, running tracks, tennis courts, pickleball courts, and surfacing of tracks/courts. PCC Sports is a rapidly growing company based near Kansas City, MO and has a footprint throughout the Midwest and Southern United States. PCC Sports is affiliated with ASBA, FieldTurf, Beynon, and a member of Post-Tensioning Institute.
