2008 WHAC Baseball Championship Tournament
Hosted by Madonna University (Livonia, MI)

The 2008 Wolverine-Hoosier Athletic Conference Baseball Championship Tournament will be held Thursday May 1 and Friday May 2, 2008 at the home field of the 2008 WHAC regular season champion (Madonna University). Saturday May 3rd will be reserved as a rain date if necessary.

Tournament seeding will be determined by final standings of regular season. All games played on one field, unless inclement weather forces two field necessary. Seedings will be announced following final regular season games.

Day One Games - Thursday May 1st
G1: #2 Indiana Tech def. #3 Concordia, 12-3

G2: #1 Madonna def. #3 Concordia, 6-2

G3: #1 Madonna def. #2 Indiana Tech, 17-1 (Game 1 in Best of 3 series)

Day Two Games - Friday May 2nd

G4: #1 Madonna def. #2 Indiana Tech, 11-10 (11 innings) (Game 2 in Best of 3 series)

Madonna wins 2008 WHAC Baseball Tournament Championship and will be WHAC seed #1 at NAIA Region VIII tournament. Indiana Tech will be #2 WHAC seed.

* Tournament follows NAIA Baseball Coaches Association guideline for three-team tournament.

* There will be a brief awards ceremony following the championship game for presentation of championship trophies and All-Conference teams.
