Wietryzkowski of LTU named National Pitcher of the Week

KANSAS CITY, Mo. - (NAIA Release) - The NAIA named Alek Wietryzkowski of Lawrence Tech as the Baseball National Pitcher of the Week. Alek pitched two complete games this week in blowout wins. He has now pitched 5 straight complete games and has lowered his ERA to 2.09 for the season.

He becomes the fourth player from the WHAC to be recognized this year and the second pitcher. Madonna's Jace Matkin earned National Player of the Week on March 15 after Cornerstone's Austin Hurt won in on March 8. Grant Young of Cornerstone was named National Pitcher of the Week on March 8.
