Two with Cornerstone ties compete at Track & Field Olympic Trials
EUGENE, Ore. - (RESULTS) - Ben Hofstra and Janelle Branch both finished 12th in the their respective 20K racewalk at the Olympic Team Trials for Track & Field at Hayward Field. Hofstra just completed his senior season at Cornerstone while Branch concluded hers in 2020.
Hofstra, a two-time NAIA All-American, improved on his 15th seed and finished in a time of 1:46:24.
Branch graduated from Cornerstone as a seven-time NAIA All-American and recently joined Clark University (Iowa) as the head cross country coach and assistant track and field coach. Branch finished the Olympic Trials in a time of 1:57:38 running as part of the Tracksmith team.
