Indiana Tech's O'Banion Named NAIA Men's Outdoor Track Athlete of the Week

KANSAS CITY, Mo. - (NAIA Release) - The NAIA announced Daunte O'Banion of Indiana Tech as the season's first Men's National Outdoor Track Athlete of the Week. The junior won the 400m dash at the Don McGarey Invitational with the second-fastest time in Tech history and ran the first leg of the 4x100m relay that ranks third in the NAIA as well as the first leg of the 4x400m relay that holds the top time in the NAIA at the same meet.

This is the second national award for O'Banion as he earned the same honor for indoor track on Feb. 3, 2022.
