Madonna's McQueen named Player of the Week

The Wolverine-Hoosier Athletic Conference (WHAC) has announced its Women's Basketball Player of the Week, presented by PCC Sports, earlier today. Student-athletes are nominated by their host institutions' sports information department and selected via a vote by conference SID's.

WHAC SIDs have chosen Aaliyah McQueen (Madonna) as the Women's Basketball Player of the Week. McQueen had a big weekend for the Crusaders, scoring 41 points on 56% shooting against Cornerstone. That total was second most in a single game in Madonna history and just the second 40-point game at the institution. McQueen finished the week with 56 points on 55% from the field. This is McQueen's second Player of the Week award this season.
