Klak and Olivia named Tennis Players of the Week
Nicholas Klak of Aquinas and Olivia Schoppa of Lourdes were selected as Tennis Players of the Week in the Wolverine-Hoosier Athletic Conference (WHAC). The pair were chosen based on their peformance for the week of April 17-23, 2023.
Klak was named the men's winner as he won every match he played during a pair of team victories. The senior dropped five games during his two No. 5 singles victories and partnered with Max Goldbeck-Lowe in dropping just one game during two doubles matches.
Schoppa took the women's award after winning at No. 3 singles and No. 2 doubles. The freshman needed three sets in the singles competition and partnered with Laura Ortiz for the doubles win.
