Concordia's Johnston Gets Career Win #300

DETROIT - (CUAA Release) - Concordia head baseball coach Zach Johnston got career win No. 300 in the nightcap of a doubleheader with UM-Dearborn today. The Cardinals won the first game 17-11 and hit the magic 300 in the second game 7-4. 

Johnston is in his ninth season as skipper Cardinals and has led the team to two NCCAA World Series titles, 2019 2022) in four appearances. 

Concordia is a perfect fit for Johnston as he spent his playing days on the Cardinal roster. The Hall of Famer from 2006-2010 as a utility player - playing left field, second base, and shortstop. He was Inducted into Concordia University's Athletic Hall of Fame in 2018.

Johnston now holds a 300-165 overall record, 32-5 this season, and sports a .645 overall winning percentage.
