Baseball Player and Pitcher of the Week to Sherman and Gausselin
The Wolverine-Hoosier Athletic Conference (WHAC) announced Jordan Sherman of Concordia and Conor Gausselin of Aquinas as its weekly award winners for the sport of baseball. The duo were picked for their performance during the week of April 17-23, 2023.
Sherman earned Player of the Week hitting .552 and driving in 12 runs. The senior's 16 hits extended his hitting streak to 26 games as the Cardinals won seven games.
Gausselin took Pitcher of the Week honors striking out 19 and giving up just three hits in two games. The junior allowed one unearned and walked only three in 13 innings of work.
