Madonna Sweeps Season's Final Baseball Weekly Awards
Madonna swept the season's final Baseball Player and Pitcher of the Week awards as Bobby Cavin and Brandon Rice earned the awards for the week ending April 30, 2023.
Cavin was named Player of the Week after hitting .455 through five games. The junior drove in 10 runs and hit three homers for a .909 slugging percentage as the Crusaders went 5-0.
Rice picked up Pitcher of the Week as he struck out seven and allowed three hits scattered over six innings. The freshman finished the week not giving up a run.
