Two Teams Remain in Each Pod in WHAC Baseball Tournament

ANN ARBOR, Mich. - (TOURNAMENT PAGE) - The opening day of the 2023 Wolverine-Hoosier Athletic Conference (WHAC) Baseball Tournament saw the top seeds win both of their games. Top-seeded Concordia remains undefeated in Pod B while second-seeded Madonna also posted a 2-0 record. Pod championships are slated for Friday with the winners advancing to the Championship Site. 

Fourth-seeded Aquinas won the first game of the day in Pod A with a 9-5 victory over UNOH. Madonna then eliminated the Racers 11-0 to face Aquinas in the third game of the day. The Crusaders won 4-5 to set up the pod final with Aquinas on Friday. 

In Pod B, fifth-seeded Indiana Tech took the first victory against No. 6 Lawrence Tech, 8-6. Concordia then eliminated LTU 9-4 and set up the meeting with Indiana Tech. The Cardinals won 10-5 and will face Indiana Tech again in the pod final on Friday.
