Rochester's LaRue, IT's Zaborowski earn Weekly Honors

The Wolverine-Hoosier Athletic Conference (WHAC) has announced its Baseball Players of the Week, presented by PCC Sports, earlier today. Student-athletes are nominated by their host institutions' sports information department and selected via a vote by conference SID's.

WHAC SID's have selected Zach Zaborowski (Indiana Tech) as the Pitcher of the Week and Jack LaRue (Rochester) as the Player of the Week. Zaborowski wins the award for the second consecutive week and had a very similar, stellar outing. He tossed seven scoreless frames, allowing just one hit while striking out 11 and walking just one. He led the Warriors to a 6-0 win over Campbellsville. LaRue slugged his way to Player of the Week honors thanks to three home runs and a 1.400 slugging percentage in a three-game series with Cincinnati-Clermont. LaRue slashed .500/.583/.1.400 with three runs scored, three RBI and a pair of walks.
