UNOH Sweeps Weekly Awards
The Wolverine-Hoosier Athletic Conference (WHAC) has announced its Baseball Players of the Week, presented by PCC Sports, earlier today. Student-athletes are nominated by their host institutions' sports information department and selected via a vote by conference SID's.
WHAC SID's have selected Will Myklebust (UNOH) as the Pitcher of the Week and Darius Freeman (UNOH) as the Player of the Week. Myklebust toss a seven-inning complete game shutout against Aquinas, striking out seven, walking just one and allowed three hits. Teammate Darius Freeman had three multi-hit games and finished the weekend with seven hits, four doubles a home run, three RBI, eight runs scored and stole five bags. This is the first weekly honors for both players and the first week any school has swept the awards.
