Lourdes Dance Team Featured at the Valero Alamo Bowl

SAN ANTONIO - The Lourdes dance team got an experience like no other when they performed at halftime of the 2022 Valero Alamo Bowl. LU head coach Lauren Wilson was contacted by the game's organizers and invited her and area dancers to be featured. Along with Lourdes dancers, she recruited local high school performers from Sylvania Southview, Sylvania Northview, Perrysburg, Notre Dame Academy, and Gravity Dance Studio.

Wilson choreographed a Top Gun-themed routine that the group of 57 performed in the 72,000-seat Alamodome where No. 12 Washington defeated No. 20 Texas 27-20. The group also took part in a pep rally earlier in the week.
