
RCU Sweeps Men's Basketball Weekly Honors
The Wolverine-Hoosier Athletic Conference (WHAC) has announced its Men's Basketball Player of the Week Award, presented by PCC Sports, earlier today. Student-athletes are nominated by their host institutions' sports information department and selected via a vote by conference SID's.
This week, the WHAC SIDs have chosen Brett White (Rochester Christian) as the Offensive Player of the Week and Brody Parker (Rochester Christian) as the Defensive Player of the Week. White averaged 23.5 points per game while shooting over 84% from the free throw line to help the Warriors to a 2-0 week. Defensively, teammate Brody Parker, was equally impressive. The senior had three steals and six defensive rebounds while holding Marian's top scorer to 28% shooting. Against Mount Vernon-Nazarene, he held his assignment to 23.1% shooting from the field.
