UNOH Just Misses Cut at NAIA Men's Golf Nationals

MESA, Ariz. - UNOH just missed the cut line at the 2023 NAIA Men's Golf National Championship by finishing at 19th after two rounds at the par 72, 7004-yard Las Sendas Golf Club. The NAIA took the top 17 teams plus ties after two rounds to advanced play.  UNOH teed off in the afternoon wave of the first round and had to wait to finish as storms rolled through the area cancelling play for the day. The Racers resumed play at 6 a.m. on Wednesday, May 17 to card a 313 for the first round total.

The second round played immediately after the first round was completed. UNOH shaved a few strokes off to finish the round at 300. Michael Robson was +5 for the two rounds and made the cut as an individual with a 149 (78, 71) and tied for 40th. Robson carded an 81 on the third day of play and a 73 on the final day to finish at 303 and tied for 63rd place.

Brandon Petzak of Madonna qualified as an individual and shot an 81 in his first round of competition before coming back and improving with a 78 in round two for a 36-hole score of 159 (+15). He missed the cut and finished the tournament tied for 159th at +15.
