Men's Lacrosse Tournament Pairings Released

ANN ARBOR, Mich. - (Tournament Page) - The bracket for the 2023 Wolverine-Hoosier Athletic Conference (WHAC) Men's Lacrosse Tournament has been released with Concordia as the top seed. The Cardinals went 8-0 during the regular season to capture their first-ever men's lacrosse title and receive a bye in the first round of the six-team tournament. Indiana Tech takes the second seed with a 7-1 WHAC record and also receives a bye in the first round.

Aquinas, Lawrence Tech, and Madonna all tied for fourth place with 4-4 league records. After remaining tied through the first two tiebreaker procedures of head-to-head and winning percentage against other league teams, Aquinas grabs the fourth seed based on the lowest number of goals allowed. With Aquinas removed, Madonna and Lawrence Tech revert back to the first tiebreaker where Madonna wins the fifth seed based on head-to-head.

First round games on April 25 are played at the higher seed sites. Aquinas will host Madonna and Lawrence Tech travels to Siena Heights. The winners advance to meet Concordia and Indiana Tech in the semifinals.

The winner of the WHAC Tournament is awarded the league's automatic berth to the 2023 NAIA Men's Lacrosse National Invitational May 10-13 in Pensacola, Fla.
