
Macomber and Williams Named MLAX Players of the Week
The Wolverine-Hoosier Athletic Conference (WHAC) has announced its Men's Lacrosse Player of the Week Award, presented by PCC Sports, earlier today. Student-athletes are nominated by their host institutions' sports information department and selected via a vote by conference SID's.
This week, the WHAC SIDs have chosen Devin Macomber (Indiana Tech) as the Offensive Player of the Week and DeMario Williams (Madonna) as the Defensive Player of the Week. Macomber led Indiana Tech to a pair of WHAC wins over Taylor and UM-Dearborn. The senior combined for 12 goals and five assists in the two matches. He also tallied seven ground balls and caused a turnover. Madonna's Williams led caused 12 turnovers in the Crusader's pair of wins over UM-Dearborn and Lawrence Tech. The junior also record 14 ground balls.
