Men's Tennis Tournament Bracket Released

LIMA, Ohio - (TOURNAMENT PAGE) - The parings for the 2023 Wolverine-Hoosier Athletic Conference (WHAC) Men's Tennis Tournament have been released. The seven-team tournament will be held at the Westwood Tennis & Fitness Center April 26-27. 

Conference champion UNOH takes the top seed and receives a bye in the first round. The Racers have seven tournament titles since the sport was reinstated as a varsity sport in 2011. Second-seeded Indiana Tech will play No. 7 Concordia to start the day at 8 a.m. Third-seeded Cornerstone and No. 6 Lourdes follow at 10 a.m. and No. 5 Lawrence Tech battles No. 4 Aquinas at noon.

The winners advance to the semifinals at 3:30 p.m. and 6 p.m. The Championship match is scheduled for April 27 at 10 a.m. All matches will be played on indoor courts. The winner earns the league's automatic berth to the NAIA Men's Tennis National Championship May 16-20 in Mobile, Ala.

First Round - Wednesday, April 26

#5 Lawrence Tech (2-4, 7-12) vs. #4 Aquinas (3-3, 7-6), noon (indoor court)
#3 Cornerstone (4-2, 7-7-1) vs. #6 Lourdes (1-5, 11-6), 10 a.m. (indoor court)
#7 Concordia (0-6, 2-10) vs #2 Indiana Tech (5-1, 10-11), 8 a.m. (indoor court)

Second Round - Wednesday, April 26
#1 UNOH (13-5) vs. Winner #5/#4, 3:30 p.m. (indoor court)
Winner #3/#6 vs. Winner #7/#2, 6 p.m. (indoor court)

Championship - Thursday, April 27
