Men's Tennis Honors Released
LIMA, Ohio - he Wolverine-Hoosier Athletic Conference (WHAC) announced its 2023 Men's Tennis Honors in conjunction with the league's tournament.
UNOH senior Sergio Conde three-peated as Player of the Year after leading the Racers to the conference title. Newcomer of the Year went to freshman Giovanni Branchetti of UNOH who had a 14-6 singles record.
UNOH head coach Jeff Brown picked up his third consecutive Coach of the Year after guiding the Racers to a 6-0 league record. The coaches voted Aquinas head coach Gunnar Peery as the sport's Champion of Character Coach.
In addition to First Team All-Conference, the WHAC also announced its All-Academic Team (juniors or above in academic standing with cumulative GPA of at least 3.25 and in attendance at nominating school for one full year) and the Champions of Character Team (best represents the five core character values of integrity, respect, responsibility, sportsmanship, and servant leadership).
