Five Earn All-American Recognition for Men's Tennis

KANSAS CITY, Mo. - (NAIA Release) - The Wolverine-Hoosier Athletic Conference (WHAC) saw five earn national honors in men's tennis for the 2023 season. Sergio Conde and Giovanni Branchetti of UNOH were named First Team All-Americans while teammate Martin Stanchev was named to the second team. Michel Zobel of Indiana Tech and Racer Malik Omarkhanov were announced as Honorable Mention. Honorees were selected by the NAIA All-America Selection Committee.

Conde posted a 9-8 singles record a 16-4 doubles record to earn his second consecutive first team honor. Branchetti was 15-7 in singles play and 16-3 in doubles. Stanchev repeated as a second teamer and went 12-3 in singles and 17-6 in doubles while Omarkhanov finished at 15-2 and 17-7 for his second straight honorable mention nod.

Zobel ended the season at 10-10 in singles and 8-9 in doubles.
