Heisser and Barthell Earn Indiana Tech a Sweep of Weekly Honors

The Wolverine-Hoosier Athletic Conference (WHAC) has announced its Indoor Track and Field Athletes of the Week, presented by PCC Sports, earlier today. Student-athletes are nominated by their host institutions' sports information department and selected via a vote by conference SID's. 

WHAC SID's have selected Aaron Heisser (Indiana Tech) as the Track Athlete of the Week and Davarri Barthell (Indiana Tech) as the Field Athlete of the Week. Heisser won the 600m at the Warrior Indoor Invite with a time of 1:21.95. The time was good for an NAIA "A" standard in the event. Teammate Davarri Barthell was named the Field athlete of the week for winning the long jump with a leap of 7.31m. The jump was good for an "A" standard as was his efforts in the 60m run (6.82).
