Blacknell and Darden Sweep Awards for Madonna

The Wolverine-Hoosier Athletic Conference (WHAC) has announced its Indoor Track and Field Athletes of the Week, presented by PCC Sports, earlier today. Student-athletes are nominated by their host institutions' sports information department and selected via a vote by conference SID's. 

WHAC SID's have selected Deveyon Blacknell (Madonna) as the Track Athlete of the Week and Mason Darden (Madonna) as the Field Athlete of the Week. Blacknell wins his second WHAC weekly award thanks to winning the 60m (6.74) and placing second in the 200m (21.27) Both marks hit NAIA A standards. Teammate Mason Darden wins his first WHAC weekly honor this season with a win in the weight throw (19.52) which is also an NAIA A standard.
