Indiana Tech Men win 12th-straight WHAC Indoor Title

GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. - (Complete Results) For the 12th consecutive year, Indian Tech Men's Indoor Track & Field has claimed the WHAC title. The Warriors scored 239 points to earn first place. Madonna was in second with 114 points followed by Aquinas and Cornerstone who tied for third with 101.50 points each.

Five WHAC records were broken at the meet. Those included Javon Sanders from Indiana Tech in the 60m hurdles with a time of 7.96. Deveyon Blacknell from Madonna broke the record in the 60 meter dash (6.75) while Ethan Barker from host Aquinas broke the record in the 5000 meter run (15:02.97). Alec Shaw of Rochester broke the one mile record ( 4:15.83) while Edward Fry from Aquinas broke the 3000m record ( 8:36.46)

Andy Wright of Cornerstone was named the Champion of Character Coach while Indiana Tech's Doug Edgar was named the Coach of the Year. 

The top three finishers in each event receive All-Conference honors.
